Privacy & analytics choices

Pitching Pilot uses your account details to provide job alerts and video tools. Your recordings, portfolio content and generated videos are used to provide the features you choose. This notice describes our optional website analytics.

Your choice comes first

Optional analytics and marketing-page recordings are off until you opt in. Use “Privacy choices” on this page to allow or decline analytics and marketing-page recordings together, or withdraw consent. The checkbox is initially selected; optional tracking starts only after you press Continue. We remember your choice in a session cookie shared across tabs. It lasts for your browser session; browsers that restore sessions may retain it after reopening. If your browser blocks this cookie, optional tracking stays off. We honor Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track.

Google Analytics

With usage analytics enabled, Google Analytics measures public page views, pricing-section views, successful signup and first successful video generation. We send fixed page categories and milestone names. We do not send your name, email, proposal text, job details, recordings, authentication tokens or payment details. Advertising features are disabled. Google may process technical information such as browser and device details and use cookies to distinguish visits. Ahrefs Web Analytics

With usage analytics enabled, Ahrefs measures visits and interactions on public marketing pages. It does not load on account pages, shared videos or URLs containing query strings or fragments. Ahrefs describes this service as cookie-free. See Ahrefs Web Analytics information.

Microsoft Clarity

With marketing-page recordings enabled, Clarity helps us understand scrolling and interactions on public marketing pages. Text is masked and recordings are excluded from login, registration, your dashboard, account settings, billing, video editors, share pages and product previews. Clarity does not load on URLs with query strings. See Microsoft’s privacy statement.

Product video analytics

Our separate first-party video engagement feature measures viewing activity on shared videos when enabled. Optional website analytics choices do not enable or disable that product feature.

Contact the Pitching Pilot operator through your existing support channel for questions or requests about your account data. Optional third-party analytics remain subject to each provider’s retention and privacy controls.
